The easiest party games to start are the ones nobody has to install or pay for. One person hosts a room, everyone else types a four-letter code (or scans a QR code) on their phone, and you are playing in under a minute. Every player sees the whole game on their own screen, so you don’t need a TV, a console or a shared screen.
Imposter is the crowd favourite: everyone gets a secret word except one player, who has to bluff through the clues. Most Likely To and Would You Rather are pure voting fun, with the results revealed to everyone at once.

Sketch It: one person draws, everyone races to type the answer. Forbidden Words: describe the word on your card without saying it or any of the forbidden words, while the team guesses.
Make 24, Five Letters, Typing Race and Reaction Time can run "One at a time": everyone gets the same question at once and points go by answer order, like a game show.

Room codes also work for chess and checkers (with knockout cups for the whole group), a Texas Hold’em table played with chips only, and live arena games where everyone moves at once.
